Google Search is packed with cool features, hidden surprises, and now, a brand-new game called “Brick Smasher.” It’s a fun addition to the list of games you can play right in your browser. If you search for “Brick Smasher” on any device, you’ll see a game card pop up. Click “Play,” and you’re taken to a full-screen mode inspired by the classic Atari game, Breakout.

In Google’s version, you’ll see four rows of colorful blocks—blue, red, yellow, and green, matching the company’s logo. Some blocks are tougher to break, while others give you cool power-ups like extra balls, a wider paddle, “TNT” explosions, or even double blasters that remind you of Space Invaders. You start with three lives, but you can earn more as you play.

Your score is displayed at the top, and once you clear all the blocks, four new rows appear for the next round. The game is silent by default, but you can turn on sound effects by clicking the volume icon. On phones, you can move the paddle by dragging it or tapping the screen. On a computer, use the left and right arrow keys (and you can even resize the window for a better view).

This game seems to be a recent addition to Google’s collection of Games & Toys, which includes favorites like Memory Game, Tic Tac Toe, Earth Day Quiz, Fun Facts, Solitaire, Snake, PAC-MAN, Minesweeper, and more. Google also offers handy tools like a Calculator, Coin Flip, Color Picker, and even a Metronome for quick use.

You can play Brick Smasher on both desktop and mobile browsers, as well as on the Google app for Android and iOS. It’s a simple yet addictive way to pass the time!
