Gmail updates bill summary card for easier use on mobile
Gmail is making changes to how it shows bill information on your phone or tablet, whether you’re using Android or iOS.
The new look starts with the name of the bill and the month it’s for, right at the top. Below that, you’ll see when the bill is due and how much you owe in big numbers. You might also find other useful details like your account number or how much you need to pay at the least. At the bottom, there’s a handy section with buttons to pay the bill, check the bill, or set a reminder using Google Tasks.
This updated card will show up for bills like electricity, credit cards, and more. The design is simpler to read at a glance and lets you do things more quickly than before.
Gmail’s New Bill Card
This new bill card is being sent out to people who use Google Workspace, those with personal Google accounts, and Google Workspace Individual subscribers. Although it’s rolling out, we haven’t seen it on our devices yet.
Gmail is also planning to update the travel summary card next. Plus, you’ll start seeing these cards when you search your emails or in a new “Happening soon” area right above your email list.
In other news from Google Workspace this week, they’ve updated the Gemini app (on both mobile and web) with version 2.0 Flash. This update makes responses better, faster, and more efficient. For workspace users on the mobile app, there’s no option to choose different versions like on the web, where you can select from a dropdown menu at gemini.google.com. This change is now fully implemented.
